Well, I have only one ad spot on my home page connected with BSA.
I have successfully purchased few quality links from other blogs that give me some useful traffic.

Well, I've heard that Google hates blogs that sells links, and consider the blogs as spam blog, is that true? Honestly that I am worried about this but selling links in our blog such a very good way to make money
